Charles J. Becker
Owner, Licensed Funeral Director
Charles is a lifelong resident of Florida. Born in Ft. Lauderdale, Florida he moved with his parents to Clermont in 1984. He is a graduate of Clermont High School the Class of 1991. Following graduation he served in the United States Marine Corps, serving for two years at MCAS Iwakuni in Japan and another 2 years at Camp Lejeune, NC. After being offered a chance to follow in his father's path, Charles came back to Clermont and attended St. Petersburg College Funeral Service Program, graduating in 2000.
Charles is involved in many civic functions, including the South Lake Chamber of Commerce, Clermont Kiwanis Club, Board Member of the South Lake Hospital Foundation, charter member of the South Lake Chapter of the Marine Corps League Detachment; the National Funeral Directors Association; the Independent Funeral Directors of Florida and is a past member of the City of Clermont Parks and Recreation Board. In his spare time he enjoys cycling, running, fishing and especially spending time with his family.
Charles is married to Amy and they have a daughter, Lilia

Rolland E. "Ron" Becker, Sr., 84, of Clermont, FL passed away Tuesday, December 27, 2016 at home under the care of Hospice. Ron was born on October 29, 1932 in Leetonia, OH, the son of Joseph and Carrie Becker. He graduated from East High School, Youngstown, OH in 1950 and enlisted in the United States Marine Corps in 1951. When he reported for basic training at Parris Island, South Carolina, he left at home his parents, sister Sandra and brother David.
After training he was sent to Quantico, VA and later was assigned to Treasure Island in San Francisco. When he left Treasure Island he was on his way to Korea aboard the USNS Fred C. Ainsworth, when the ship hit a typhoon and they ended up in Subic Bay, Philippines. He and the rest of the crew spent eleven months in the Philippines engaged in fighting with the Hucks. He was also assigned to guard duty. In July 1952 he was attached to the 1st Marine Division. He was assigned to Admiral Briscoe, Commander of the Pacific Fleet. Ron was one of three men who were always with the Admiral. In November 1953 he returned to the US onboard the USS New Jersey battleship. He was honorably discharged in 1954 in Miami, FL and had earned the United Nations Service Medal, Korean Defense Service Medal and the National Defense Medal.
Once he was discharged from the Marine Corps he played professional minor league baseball in the Pittsburgh Pirates organization. After an injury he decided to attend the Dallas Institute of Mortuary Science in Dallas, TX, graduating from there in 1958. Ron returned to South Florida and began his career in the funeral industry.
Ron and Marcy were married in 1969 and opened Becker Funeral Home in Deerfield Beach, FL in 1972. He also established a Becker Funeral Home in Coral Springs, FL in the late 1980’s.
Ron and his family relocated to Hernando County in 1979 where he bought a ranch in Brooksville, FL. In 1984 they moved to Clermont and opened up Becker Funeral Home, which is still serving families in this community today.
Ron had taken an active part in the civic affairs of the city in which he resided in for the last 50 years. He was a member of the First United Methodist Church of Clermont and had served on its many boards. He was a past president and director of the South Lake Chamber of Commerce. Ron had been an active Kiwanis member since 1961 serving in many of the various offices locally and on the Division and District levels. He was a past Lt. Governor, past President, a holder of the Hixson award, the Ralph Davis award and had over 55 years of perfect attendance. Ron was also a charter member and past Commandant of the South Lake Chapter of the Marine Corps League; Subic Bay Marine Association; Clermont Masonic Lodge, Bahia Shrine Temple of Orlando; Lake County Shrine Club; past Commander of the American Legion; South Lake Foundation; Independent Funeral Directors of Florida and the National Funeral Directors Association. He was honored as the Clermont Citizen of the Year in 2006.
Ron is survived by his loving wife of 47 years, Marcy; sons, Ron E. Becker, Jr. and Charles J. Becker; daughters, Rhonda Devereaux and Jody Pellegrino; brother David Becker; 6 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren.

Kaye Stewart

Kaye was born in Camp Lejeune, North Carolina while her father was serving in the United States Marine Corps. She moved to the Clermont area soon after birth where her mother's side of the family has been for many generations. Having moved away to the Atlanta and St. Louis areas she has always returned to central Florida considering it to be "home". She likes traveling, the beach, being outdoors, most any kind of sports and spending time with family and friends.
Her association with Becker Funeral Home began in 2004 joining her son-in-law Charles Becker and his parents Ron and Marcy Becker in their family business after working in the transportation and safety industry for over 15 years.
She has 3 daughters and 3 granddaughters and a grandson.

Jennifer Lima
Licensed Funeral Director
Jennifer is a native Floridian, born and raised in St. Petersburg, with over 10 years of experience serving families in the funeral industry. She joined the Becker Funeral Home staff in 2020 and brings both compassion and dedication to her work. Jennifer earned her degree in Mortuary Science from St. Petersburg College and is committed to guiding families with care and understanding during life’s most difficult moments.
Outside of her professional role, Jennifer enjoys traveling—especially to exotic & faraway places, rescuing shelter dogs, and spending quality time with her children and close friends.

Rob Bittle
Licensed Funeral Director
Rob, an eastern North Carolina native, joined the Becker Funeral Home staff in 2022. He is a graduate of the University of North Carolina at Greensboro, The Atlanta Institute of Music, and Fayetteville Technical Community College where he received his Degree in Funeral Service Education in 1997.
As a Funeral Home Manager in North Carolina, Rob won six National Funeral Directors Association’s "Pursuit of Excellence Award" and in 2010 won the prestigious “Best of the Best” award given to only eight funeral homes in the world that year.
Before becoming a Funeral Director, Rob was a touring and recording musician and has performed shows with James Brown, Percy Sledge, Donna Summer, The Neville Brothers, and many more. In his spare time, he can be found playing music, triathlon training, and hanging out with his four children; Holland, Caden, Sydney, and Simon; and his pug, Jabba.

Michelle was born and raised in New Britain, Connecticut and speaks fluent Polish. Funeral service is a second career for Michelle. She began her life’s work in long-term health care as an Admissions Coordinator in skilled nursing facilities then received her Nursing Home Administrator License. She went back to school in 2013 to pursue a special calling she had for funeral service. She graduated from FINE Mortuary College in Norwood, MA with an Associate of Applied Science degree and is a dual licensed Funeral Director/Embalmer in CT and Florida. Michelle is a member of the Academy of Professional Funeral Service Practice and has the designation of Certified Funeral Service Practitioner (CFSP). The CFSP designation is the highest professional designation funeral practitioners can achieve in funeral service by having a driven desire to learn, grow and serve families with compassion, creativity and integrity.

Jessica, born and raised in Florida, is driven by her passion to help others. After many years working in the customer service industry, she enrolled in St. Petersburg College in pursuit of a degree in Funeral Services. She aims to assist others to the best of her ability and strives to learn more every day to better serve the community.
When Jessica is not working or studying, she enjoys spending time with her family, exploring new places and trying new food.

Ed has been a resident of Central Florida for 35 years. He has been working as a Staff Assistant for over 12 years, prior to employment with Becker Funeral Home. He graduated from Clifton High School, Clifton, NJ in 1963. Ed enlisted in the U.S. Navy and reported for duty in 1964. He did two tours of duty in the Vietnam War, Support Division Navy Seals, also Marine Recon Division with Amphib Group 3 in San Diego, CA. He received numerous awards and commendations for service to our country.
After his military service he was a police officer in St. Thomas, US Virgin Islands and with the Department of Defense in Bayonne, NJ. He was also with Osceola County Sheriff's Department in Kissimmee, FL. He has been married for 48 years, has two children, two granddaughters and a great grandson. For relaxation, Ed is an avid golfer.

I’m a Florida native, born and raised in Orlando. I moved to Clermont a year after my Beautiful Wife, Deanne and I were married, and since then we have raised two wonderful children, both young adults now. I retired after 25 years in the microelectronics industry, making microchips for computers and phones. My hobbies are snow skiing, kayaking, trying to play golf and working out. In my quiet time I enjoy spending time in God’s word. Now in my spare time I love serving the families that use the services of Becker Funeral Home and volunteering.

I moved to Central Florida in 2003 after spending 30 years with AT&T in Indianapolis, Indiana.
Over the years, I have developed a passion for community service, and I am currently serving on a Life Care team at a local church, where I work alongside others to support and enrich our local community.
My wife, Janet, and I have six adult children, and we enjoy spending our free time exploring the beauty of Florida.
We often travel around the state in our camper, discovering new places and creating lasting memories together.

I’m originally from Brooklyn, New York by way of Havana Cuba. I graduated from the University of Central Florida with a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration.
After college I worked for a pharmaceutical company as a local medical representative for over ten years. Most recently I retired from the hospitality industry having worked in hotel and convention management.
I enjoy reading a good book, spending the day at the beach and time with my family and friends. My wife and I also enjoy checking out new restaurants in the Central Florida area.

Jennifer is a Central Florida native who loves exploring the world and meeting new people. She is always up for a challenge and, after earning a B.F.A. in Interior Design, has worked as a Designer, Project Manager, and Volunteer Program Manager. She brings a wealth of experience to the Becker team and is committed to providing the best care possible to the families that we serve. In her spare time, Jennifer enjoys hanging out with family, biking local trails, and learning how to become a better gardener.
