Zolie William Czerna, 86, Winter Garden, FL passed away December 6, 2010 at South Lake Hospital in Clermont, FL. He was born January 6, 1924 in Litchfield County, CT son of Peter Czerna, Jr. & Helen nee Kuchta Czerna. He was a US Army WWII veteran having served in Europe & Africa and a retired  aerospace supervisor in Bantam, CT for 20+ years.  On February 12, 1988 he was united in marriage to Rose  nee Bartosenski Lewandowski  in Torrington, CT and was a central Florida resident since 1989 from Torrenton  where he was a member of St. Francis Catholic Church. He was preceded in death by his first wife of 38 years Margaret Ivain Czerna. Surviving is his wife of 23 years, Rose; children Marie Czerna, Margaret Budny, Christine McCorlin & William Czerna all of Torrenton & Elaine Artzer of Missouri; brother Peter Czerna & sister Helen Czerna;step-sons Louis Lewandowski, Clermont & Luke, Mark & Joel Lewandowski all of Winter Garden; 7 grandchildren ; 2 great-grandchildren; 3 step-grandsons & 1 step-great-granddaughter. -394-7121.



The memorial service for Zolie Czerna will be held at 10:30 AM on Friday, Janurary 7, 2011 at St. Francis Catholic Church in Torrington. Inurnment will take place in Hillside Cemetery.
