Yvette Costa-Garnier, 63, Clermont, FL passed away December 8, 2012. She was born March 8, 1949 in Havana, Cuba of Cuban parents, left Cuba when she was four years old and spent her early childhood years in Haiti. She returned to Cuba for one year before moving to Montreal, Canada. Miss Costa-Garnier holds a Laureat Degree from l'Ecole Normale de Musique de Montreal and from Loyla/Concordia University, a B.A. in modern Languages; Italian, Spanish & French. She also studied at the Universite de Montreal. Miss Costa-Garnier has received accolades as an international recitalist, with performances in the United States & Europe. Mass of the Resurrection for Miss Costa-Garnier will be held at 1:00 PM on Saturday, December 15, 2012 at Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church, 720 12th Street, Clermont, FL celebrated by Very Reverend Robert E. Webster. Visitation will be from 5-8 PM on Friday at the funeral home & one hour prior to the mass at the church on Saturday. Inurnment will be in Oak Hill Cemetery at a later date.
