Memorial Services for Yolanda Morales, 69, Summit Oak Circle, Minneola, who died Wednesday, April 11, 2018, at Hospice Homecare, Davenport, will be 1:00 P.M. Saturday, April 14th at Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church of Clermont, where she was a faithful parishioner for over 14 years.
Ms. Morales was born in Mayaguez, Puerto Rico and moved here in 2004 from Brooklyn, New York where she worked as a Claims Reviewer for the Department of Labor for 30 years before purchasing a home and retiring in Minneola, Florida. She was a graduate of the New York Institute of Fashion and Design. She enjoyed cooking, antiques, shopping, traveling and so much more. She was well known for her vibrant spirit and willingness to always help out anyone in need.
Survivors include her daughter, Cynthia Caban, Davenport; sisters, Carmen Perez, Clermont; Julia Black, Clermont; Elma Jordan, Bronx, NY and Velia Morales, Bronx, NY; grandchildren, Laura Morales, Davenport; Elizabeth Morales, Orlando; Ricardo Morales, Orlando and Jonathan Caban, Davenport; great grandchildren, Jovane Artiz Mitchell, Davenport; Yalia Maria Morales, Kissimmee and Aaliyah Morales, Winter Haven.
