Wyona Judy
January 15, 1934-June 11, 2023
Born to Earl and Claudia Drawdy, Wyona Judy was the youngest of four children. Raised in Weirsdale, FL, Wyona spent her days working on the family farm. She would often speak about picking fruit from her daddy's apple tree, sneaking a taste of the homemade cane syrup her family was known for, or joining the school's basketball team!
She married the love of her life on June 24, 1949 and had five children who she loved dearly. Active in church, Wyona would often sing on stage with her family, you could also find her in the Sunday school room, she was a Sunday school teacher for 49 years, passing on her love of the Lord to generations of children. When not at church, Wyona was hard at work, whether at the family saw mill or at the B&W canning plant where she worked for 28 years. Whether at church, work, or making memories with her family on the coast, Wyona's love of family and the Lord shone through in everything she did. Her door was never shut to anyone in need. She was loved by all who knew her.
Proceeded in death by her husband of 65 years, Cecil, Wyona is survived by her 5 children; Janice Cook, Annette Judy, Dennis ( Beth) Judy, Cindy (Ricky) Boone, and Randy (Vivian) Judy. Blessed with a large family, Wyona was a devoted grandma to 20 grandchildren, 42, great grandchildren, and 17 great great grandchildren.
