William A. Roberts - Born to Ernest and Frances Roberts in Marianna, Florida on January 29, 1941. He moved to Orlando after graduating from high school where he met the love of his life, Sandy. They were married for 52 years and have four children, Ray, Ronnie, Raymond and Patricia. He spent many years working for Martin Marietta and the Orange County Convention Center. He had a love of fishing, collecting die cast trucks and choosing nicknames for everyone he knew. Always quick with a comeback, bringing smiles to everyone he met. He adored his family and was always ready to brag about them. He is survived by his loving wife and children, grand daughters, Alisha, Cheiane, Ashley and Ella and grandsons, Scotti, Cody, Ryan, Will and Noah and great-grandson Rylan. He is also survived by his brother Buford, sister Anne and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and many great friends.



The funeral service for Mr. Roberts will be held at 4:00 PM on Thursday, February 6, 2014 in the Becker Chapel. Reverend Dawn Fryman will officiate. Visitation will be for one hour prior to the service. The family suggests memorial contributions to the American Heart Association.
