William Clay Owens was born on December 15, 1953 & passed away with his family by his side on September 4, 2021. William worked as a heavy equipment mechanic for many years before retiring but he was always ready to help others in his field of expertise. Mr. Bill, as most of his friends knew him, loved to fish, hunt and almost anything else that had to do with the outdoors. He also enjoyed mud bogging when he was younger but his passion was truck pulling with the family. William is survived by his wife of 48 years, Sue Owens, his children, Christina Peltier & husband Spencer Peltier, and his son Timothy Owens. He has 6 grandchildren, Leann, Taylor, Brianna, Austin, Piper and Clay; and 3 great grandchildren Adabelle, Olivia and Alahna. William was also survived by his sister Melinda Spurlin & husband Max Spurlin from Georgia. William was preceded in death by his mother Ella Belins, father William Owens and his brother David Owens.
