IN LOVING MEMORY OF
William
Mulchi
December 16, 1930 – October 5, 2020
William (Bill) Mulchi, age 89, tragically passed away on October 5, 2020, in the presence of his
immediate family. He was born on December 16, 1930, in Detroit, Michigan, to Lee and Hazel Mulchi.
In 1950 at the age of twenty, Bill enlisted in the army and served heroically in the Korean war where he
was severely wounded in 1952. Thereafter, he recovered from his injuries; however, he was unable to
return to active duty and he was honorably discharged. Bill went on to graduate from the University of
West Virginia with a Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration. Bill used his business administration
degree to work in the aerospace industry, and thereafter, as general manager to various large new car
dealerships in Central Florida.
Bill was previously married to Carol Mulchi and they were the parents of three sons. Sadly, Carol
predeceased Bill in 1989 in Orlando Florida.
On April 10, 1991, Bill and Patty (Unell) Mulchi were married in Orlando, Florida, and Bill became the
stepfather (dad) of two daughters and one son who have loved him dearly as their dad for 30 years.
Bill's passion in life especially was his family and spending as much time as possible with them. Also, Bill
and Patty did extensive missionary work in the United States and in South America to help those in
need. He enjoyed traveling with Patty throughout the United States and the world for the last three
decades. They especially enjoyed taking cruises throughout the Caribbean and to ports around the
world. His family and friends are devastated by his loss. He will be loved and missed forever.
He is survived by his beloved and devoted wife of 30 years, Patty, his sons, Dan, Ronald, and James, and
his stepdaughters Lynette and Rae, as well as numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren. His
stepson, Eddie, devastatingly predeceased him in July 2017.
As a war veteran, Bill's ashes will be buried in the military cemetery in the Florida National Cemetery in
Bushnell, Florida, and the immediate family will participate in a private ceremony honoring and paying
tribute to his life.
Revelation 21:4 "He will wipe every tear from their eyes. There will be no more death or mourning or crying
or pain, for the old order of things has passed away"
