"Bill" William Masi Jr.- born Oct. 31, 1938, passed on April 20, 2023, while at Cornerstone Hospice.

Beloved Son, Husband, Father, Grandfather, Uncle & Friend.

Born in Port Chester, NY, he graduated from Pt. Chester High was the first to in his family to attend college at Indiana Technical College in Ft. Wayne, IN with a degree in Civil Engineering in 1960.

After graduation, he was a member of the Marine Reserves for 6 years. He went on to work as an engineer for the NY Railroad and private engineering companies in NY and NJ. Just before moving to Fl. he was working for Rockland County when in 1979 when he found himself stuck at home due to a blizzard, he decided to move his family to Orlando, FL. Was offered a job as the chief Civil Engineer for Orange County, He retired from Orange County he later worked for the City of Casselberry and SFWMD- South Fl. Water Management District. He was always mentoring the young workers at work whenever he got a chance.

When he finally retired we moved to Kings Ridge.  Enjoying his relaxed life with neighbors and friends. After giving up golf he was having fun this past year with his friend Tony gambling via computer/TV betting on horse & dog races. Enjoyed traveling far and near such as visiting our close friends in Melbourne the Rolf's. He was always the life of the party, telling stories and having fun with people once he got to know you.

He is survived by his wife of 54 years Diane and sons Phillip/Cindy, Grandchildren- Nick, Emily & Will- Tampa, and son Dale,- Clemson, SC.

The Masi Family would like to "Thank All" for helping out at different times and all the prayers & cards sent to the house. It means so much.

Service will be on - Sat. 6th of May, 2 – 4 PM - at Becker's Funeral Home, Clermont, FL.
