William Byron "Will" Kruse

December 3, 1984 - May 21, 2021

Will passed away unexpectedly on Friday, May 21 at the age of 36. Will was born in Winter Park, Florida, to Bill and Connie Kruse. A lifelong Floridian, Will grew up in Central Florida and lived in Clermont with his wife and two children when he passed.

As an avid fisherman, Will loved to be anywhere near the water. More recently, Will had found his niche and discovered a great talent for woodworking. Will had a quick wit and was always the one trying to make others laugh, though he was always the most successful at making himself giggle. Will married his wonderful wife, Julia, on March 2, 2010. Julia is from South Korea, and she was the love of his life. Will came alive when his son David was born three years ago and fell in love with his baby girl, Floy, when he first laid eyes on her 7 months ago. He was a doting father, never more himself than when he was with his children.

Will was not a stranger to adversity. At the age of 14, he fell from a second story balcony and broke his back. He recovered from the injury but his life was different after that. One of the things that changed was his faith and dependence on God. He loved the Lord and knew the Lord's nearness and provision in spite of difficulty. That injury really softened his heart and helped form his character. When he met his future wife, Julia, he knew the faithfulness of God in sending him such a wonderful woman. When their children were born, each one brought him so much joy. He loved them so fiercely.

Family was the dearest thing to Will's heart. He was a wonderful friend, husband, son and brother. He leaves behind his wife Julia, and his children David (3), Floy (7 mos), his parents, Bill and Connie Kruse, and siblings, John (Jamie), Tim (Aubrey), and Floy Beth Kruse and nephews Jack and Eli, as well as several aunts, uncles, and beloved cousins.
