William "Bill" Grover Hundley, 65, passed away peacefully on February 19, 2025, surrounded by family in Orlando, FL.

Born on February 10, 1960, in Washington, D.C., to William and Roberta Hundley, Bill grew up in Vienna, VA. He went on to study recreational therapy at the University of Tennessee in Chattanooga, where he met his wife, Renee. Together, they built a life filled with love and dedication, raising their daughter, Stephanie.

Bill spent his career as a recreational/activities therapist, first in Fairfax County, VA, and later in Orlando, where he continued his work helping others. Known for his kindness, dry sense of humor, and strong work ethic, he was someone people could always count on.

Beyond his career, Bill was committed to giving back. He spent countless hours fundraising for the MS Society, the American Cancer Society, and organizations supporting individuals with special needs. When he wasn't working or fundraising, he enjoyed gardening, trying out new recipes, and making sure his pets were properly spoiled.

Bill is survived by his wife Renee, his daughter Stephanie, and his five siblings: Mary (Ed), James (Michelle), Barbara (Lou), John (Stacey), and Richard (Michele), along with many beloved nieces, nephews, and cousins.

A celebration of his life will be held in Northern Virginia at a later date. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the National Multiple Sclerosis Society.
