IN LOVING MEMORY OF
William "Bill"
H. Horner, Jr.
November 16, 1960 – August 13, 2021
William H. "Bill" Horner, Jr. went to be with his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on August 13, 2021, surrounded by his loving family.
He was born on November 16, 1960, in Dunlap, TN. He was married to the love of his life LaDonna, for 39 years and had two daughters and three grandsons.
Bill was an example to all. He walked in the footsteps and legacy of his parents and paved new ways on how to love like Christ, to love unconditionally, and how to laugh and enjoy life. Bill always brightened a room, a big teddy bear with tenderness in his eyes and a joy that was infectious. His sense of humor was like none other, and was always a ray of sunshine. He never missed an opportunity to joke around and make others laugh.
Anyone who knew Bill knew how much he loved and adored his family. He was a provider for his family and made sure they were always well-cared for. Bill was the rock of the family. He was a devoted husband and an amazing Dad and Grandpa. He worked day and night to make sure that all were taken care of and he provided for many outside of the family as well. He was selfless, generous, and never left a need unmet.
Bill was the proud owner of Golf Specialties, Inc. Over 25 years ago he started the business from the ground up and built it into the company it is today; a successful and well-respected company within the industry and community. Through his business he blessed many people and the community.
He was preceded in death by his parents Reverend William H. Horner, Sr., and Mary Robert Horner. He is survived by his loving wife LaDonna of 39 years, his two daughters Natalie Gardener (Sam), Whitney Horner, his three grandchildren Gavin, Deacon and Tate, his three sisters Cindy, Jackie, and Jewel, his nieces and nephews Chad, Tonya, Shane, Corey and Alyssa, his grand-dogs Carly and Millie, and his sidekick Bandit.
When Bill entered the gates of heaven, his parents were there to welcome him into his heavenly home. Bill received a warm hug from our Lord and Savior with a loving kiss on the top of his head with the words spoken, "Well done My good and faithful son"
A sense of his spirit will always reside in us. We love you Bill - Our Sunshine
