William Harry Gocinski, 74, Clermont, passed away January 19, 2011 at South Lake Hospital. He was born September 6, 1936 in Mineola, NY, son of John & Katherine DeMott Gocinski. On October 24, 1956 he was united in marriage to Dolores Cecilia Winter. After a 42 year career with the Village of Hempstead, NY as a sanitation worker he relocated to central Florida in 2001 from Lindenhurst, NY. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by siblings Donald Gocinski, John Gocinski, Jr. & Carol Seby. Surviving is his wife Dolores; children Ronald (Ginnie) Gocinski, Coram, NY; Robert (Barbara) Gocinski, Valrico, FL & Eileen (William) Hodges, Fayetteville, NC; grandchildren William, Daniel, R.J., Ed, Kristen & Randy Gocinski & siblings Richard (Mary Ann) Gocinski, Coconut Creek, FL & Jeanne (Arthur) Krucher, Coam, NY.



The funeral service for William Gocinski will be held at 11:00 AM on Saturday, January 22, 2011 in the Becker Chapel. Pastor Jonathan C. Ostenberg, Shepherd of the Hills Lutheran Church will officiate. Visitation will be from 5-8 PM on Friday. The family suggests memorial contributions in his name to Faith Neighborhood Center, P.O.
