William Howard Bruce
December 14,1947 - August 18,2024

He was born in West Palm Beach, Florida was a lifelong resident of Central Florida.
Bill served his country in the United States Army before going on to serve 30 plus years with the Highway Patrol, served as a K9 officer with the FHP then after retirement from the FHP, he went on to serve as Lieutenant at Mascotte Police Department. He also served as a school crossing guard for a few years.

Bill loved fishing, hunting with family and friends. He enjoyed watching football and western movies.
He was a member of Inspired Life Ministries where he served as head usher.
He was a friendly face with a good heart and was always smiling.

Bill is survived by his daughter Gina (Brandon) Coppage & Daughter Jennifer Bruce.
Grandchildren, Logan, Kourtni, Payton, Cameron and 8 Great Grandchildren.
Bill was preceded in death by his wife Vickie Lynn Bruce and son Billy Bruce.

Friends are welcome for visitation from 6-8 pm on Friday August 23rd at Becker Funeral home in Clermont.
Funeral Service will be held at Inspired Life Ministries Saturday August 24th at 11am with Military honors graveside service to follow at Greenwood Cemetery, following graveside we will return to Inspired Life Ministries for lunch and all are welcome to attend.
