Obituary
William Anthony Berg - 1933-2015 - We celebrate the life of William (Bill) Berg as he died unexpectedly at his home on Wednesday June 3, 2015. Bill is an adored, father, grandfather, brother, uncle, and friend. He was born Sept 13, 1933 in Milwaukee, WI. He is preceded in death by his parents Joseph and Teresa Berg, brother Greg Berg and his beloved wife of 54 years, Sheila Carew Berg. He is survived by his 5 children Mike (Kris) Berg, Patti Berg, Steve Berg, Lori (Dave) Anderson, Mary Kay Berg 8 grandchildren, 2 great-grandchildren. Bill was the oldest of seven children with surviving siblings residing in Wisconsin and Ohio. Bill prided himself in that he was a professional driver for Ford and part owner of the Green Bay Packers. He was a proud Veteran of the US Army and he retired from the Bell Telephone System where he worked for 36 years as a repairman. Bill served our community in many ways and loved his volunteer service at the Faith Neighborhood Center in Groveland, FL.
Arrangements are:
The Funeral Mass for Bill will be held at Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church in Clermont FL June 12, 2015 at 10 AM. In Lieu of flowers, donations to honor Bill''s memory may be made to the Faith Neighborhood Center. 7432 SR Hwy 50, Suite 114, Groveland, Fl. 34736. (www.beckerfamilyfuneral.com)
