Willa Ophelia Mayes, 91, Groveland, passed away June 13, 2012 at Orlando Regional Medical Center. She was born February 24, 1921 in Tulia, TX and was a local resident since 2000 from Oklahoma. A homemaker, she also was a "Rosie the Riveter" , an English Nanny & worked as a gray lady in doctor's offices. She was preceded in death by her daughter Linda Kathleen Hallmark & two sisters. Surviving are her sons Lowell G. Mayes & his wife Kathryn of Groveland & Charles Ernest Mayes, Ravia, OK; 4 grandchildren & 6 great-grandchildren. BECKER FAMILY FUNERAL HOME, Clermont, FL.
