IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Wayne Edward
Weatherbee
August 9, 1961 – January 1, 2020
Wayne "Bee" Weatherbee passed away January 1, 2020, peacefully at home under the care of Cornerstone Hospice of Clermont. He fought a rare cancer with determination, hope and bravery.
Born in Miami, Florida on August 9, 1961, he had many accomplishments in life. For a few, first place in Junior Olympics (swimming), Certification in Auto Repairs, numerous trophies in go-carts, motorcycle races and working on anything that had an engine or motor since he was 11 years old.
In 1982, he moved to Clermont, opened Bees Auto Repair in downtown area and became renowned for his mechanical abilities and knowledge. He greeted the customers with a warm, gentle smile, never met a stranger and loved practical jokes. You could always find him under a car or revving an engine. Bee was widely respected and loved by the people he served.
He became an avid high performance boat racer, working and building motors under the direction of Dorsey Frabott & Margaret, who guided and taught him the skillful knowledge of high performance boats. Anything that went fast was Bee's passion.
He was known for his long "pony tail" and his race boat painted bright red and white "Little Miss Budweiser" #70.
He is survived by his parents, Charles Edward (Charlie) & Margaret Ann (Peggy) Weatherbee, daughter Hailie Weatherbee, sister Colleen Weatherbee, nephew Charles Michael Pool, uncle James Richard Powers, aunt Carole Littlefield, nephews & nieces Michelle Hughes, Richard Baldwin, Bruce Baldwin, Billy Baldwin, other family and many dear, close friends.
