Wayne had a very magnetic personality and a heart for adventure. He had a robust loyalty to his family and friends and was able to connect to everyone he met.  He was an avid world wide traveler and liked the finer things in life. He was the founder and owner
of the Spa of Thornton Park in Orlando, Florida and also produced two music CD's through his company Music RX.
Wayne is preceded in death by his father Lawrence E. McKay (CDR-retd.) and his nephew Christopher McKay.  He is survived by his mother, Norma McKay, his brother David (Lisa) McKay, his nieces and nephews-Christina (Robert) Lange, Laura (Grant) Slater, Amanda, Michael, and David, and his great nephew Miles (Slater).

A private graveside ceremony was held on May 5th at the Montverde cemetery in Montverde, Florida.
