Wanda Iris Gonzalez passed away on September 25th, 2022 at the age of 67. Wanda was one of 5 children, Ramon, Janet, Obet and David. She is survived by her daughter Melissa, son Gabriel, grandchildren Jonathan and Michael and great grandson Jason. She is also survived by her son-in-law Dennis and granddaughter in law Selena.

Wanda loved nature, was an avid gardener and saw beauty in nature's wonder. She loved the beach, sunsets, Elvis, puzzles and a good holiday show. Wanda spent years caring for her community as a champion of youth and Director of Youth Services in New York City. She was humble and curious, shy and generous and full of life. Food was her love language, always ready with a plate.

Wanda faithfully gave to many charities. Above all else, her family and friends were her priority and those closest to her knew they could count on her in their time of needs. She is leaving each and every one of us with a feeling of warmth and security that will carry on as her legacy.

Funeral services will be on Saturday, October 8th, with visitation at 1PM - 4PM at Becker Funeral Home, 806 W. Minneola Avenue, Clermont Florida 34711.
