IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Wanda Diane
Andrews
December 19, 1950 – June 10, 2024
Wanda Diane Andrews was born on December 19, 1950 to Cecil Gerald Schrader and Mary Elizabeth Lee Schrader in Hattiesburg, Mississippi. Her father's work required them to reside in a number of states, but Wanda and her brother, Gerald, spent their summers at the family farm in Mississippi. Wanda wrote and published a book, "Mississippi Summer", describing her time spent on the farm, riding her favorite horse, Star. Wanda married James D. Andrews (Jim) in September 1989 and they settled into the quaint town of Clermont to raise their sons, Wesley and William. Wanda was involved in her community, participating in the Clermont Garden Club, and was instrumental in the development of Park Pals at Palatlakaha Park. Wanda was a beautiful, elegant Southern lady who loved nature, flowers, literature, art, and all furry friends, especially her giant schnauzer Callie, and cat Hercules. She always enjoyed sharing her home and gardens with friends and was known as the "hostess with the mostest". In her later years, Wanda became an artist, creating numerous impressionistic oil renditions of Florida palm trees and flowers. Wanda was predeceased by her parents, her brother Gerald and brother-in-law Roger Andrews. She is survived by James D. (Jim), her sons, Wesley Davis and William Davis, daughter-in-law Lindsay Roy Davis, and her beloved grandchildren, Margo and Oliver Davis. She is also survived by her dear Aunt Elizabeth Anne Davis, numerous cousins, sister-in-love Merry Lynne Wilson and her daughters Karen Griffin (Ryan), Kate Allen (Bob), sister-in-law Mary Bane (Tom) and their sons Marcus, Jonathan, and Michael (Kelly), sister-in-law Janice Andrews (Roger) and their children Rogelyn, Josh, Thomas, David and Jessica Andrews, and many precious friends, including Gypsy Anne Jones, and her sister by another mother, Teri Beasley.
