Obituary

Wallace "Wally" Hornbaker was born on October 27, 1937, in Blackford County, Indiana.  He died on May 6, 2025, in Clermont, Florida.

Wally spent his career working in many different levels of the garage door and entry door industry but loved sales the most.  He served in the Marines for 3 years after school and enjoyed staying connected to the Marine Corp and helping with Toys for Tots every year.
He had a passion for all things physical: running, road cycling and swimming. This kept him active well into his seventies.

Wally was preceded in death by his wife of 47 years Clelia Ruth (Ayers) Hornbaker, his parents Paul and Iilene (Schwartzkopf) Hornbaker and his sister Nancy (Wade) Carnes.

He is survived by his wife of 13 years Emily Hornbaker, his children Denise (Dale) Price and David (Cindy) Hornbaker and grandchildren Shannon (Braden) Hoskovec, Lauren Price, Jensen Hornbaker, Nicholas Price, Wyatt Hornbaker and 3 step children and 6 step grandchildren.

His funeral will be held at the Florida National Cemetary, Bushnell, FL on Tuesday, June 17 at 2:00 pm
