IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Vivienne Leonie
Scharschmidt
April 17, 1964 – April 6, 2021
Vivienne Leonie Scharschmidt, a 56-year-old Clermont Florida resident, went home to be with the Lord on Tuesday April 6 th , 2021.
She was a beloved wife, mother, daughter, sister, auntie, cousin, friend, co-worker, mentor, and minister of the gospel.
Vivienne was born in Jamaica's Calabar District, located in Rio Bueno, Trelawny Parish, and relocated to the States in the 90s. She served our community faithfully, both in the marketplace (as a high achieving staff of Liberty Mutual), and in the church. She also founded a Not-for-Profit organization called Celebrate the Children Ministries; to empower children. She was working on expanding its reach to include a home for pregnant women, and a community Library in Jamaica.
Vivienne was preceded in death by her brother Rogel Mitchell. She is survived by her beloved husband of 35 years, Everton (Earl) Scharschmidt; son and daughter-in-law Peulthai Scharschmidt & Amber Scharschmidt; mother Euphemia Hall; father Weston Brissett; sisters and brothers Dahlia Hamil (Polly), Verona Brissett (Annmarie), Joette Brissett (Fay), Gillian Brissett (Prudence) Marjorie Brissett-Gordon, Damion Brissett (Wayne), Kevin Brissett; nieces Nastashia Mitchell, Nadrakeish Shaw; grandnephew Luca Josiah; and a host of other uncles, aunts, nephews, nieces, in-laws, friends, and loved ones.
The gap left in our hearts with your passing Vivienne, is so huge, but we take comfort in seeing you again. Your works continue to live on!
Jesus said to her, "I am the resurrection and the life. He who believes in Me, though he may die, he shall live". John 11:25 NKJV
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations in Vivienne's honor to
