On Monday, August 31, 2026 Vivian Ransome Miller was lifted into the arms of her Lord joining many family members and friends.

Vivian was born in Raynham, NC on January 6, 1933 to the late Ernest and Lillian Ransome.

Vivian is survived by her daughter, Patsy Sellers Bartolo (Paul); son, Clyde Calvin Sellers (Diane); stepdaughter, Karen Miller Jensen (Eric) and stepson, Dennis Miller (Rebecca); 11 grandchildren and 25 great grandchildren; sister, Judy Ransome Smith of Raleigh, NC, brother, David Ransome of Rowland, NC along with many nieces, nephews and friends.

In addition to her parents, Vivian, was preceded in death by her husband, Fred Miller; daughter, Teresa Sellers Cianciotti; grandson, Gordon Lyons and granddaughter, Samantha Sellers Peterson.

Vivian held many administrative roles prior to retiring from Duke University’s Development Office and Legal Aid Society of the Orange County Bar. She was a devoted mother who always put God and family first in her life.

In honor of Vivian’s life and legacy, a celebration of her life will be held at the Becker Funeral Home, 806 W Minneola Avenue, Clermont, FL on Saturday, September 5, 2026 at 11:00 with Pastor Veal Taylor of Church At South Lake officiating. Visitation with family and friends will be an hour prior to the celebration.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made in Vivian’s memory to Cornerstone Hospice, 4215 County Road 561, Traveres, FL or your favorite charity.
