Virginia Lee Miller-Ely, 69, Clermont, FL passed away March 19, 2013 at South Lake Hospital. She was born August 21, 1943 in Shamokin, PA, daughter of Winifred Powell & Walter Miller. Virginia resided in Clermont as a homemaker the past 14 years, previously living in Williamsport PA. She is survived by her husband Karl Joseph Ely, Jr., Clermont; two daughters Denise Cardillo & husband Robert & their children Angela & Matthew of Montoursville, PA & Jennifer Treese & husband Jim & their two daughters Aurora of Montoursville, PA & Jenna, mom of great-granddaughter Lillie, both of Reno NV; sister Donna Clark & husband Richard, Manchester, MI; nieces & nephews also of Manchester, MI.
Virginia was a beautiful woman who touched the lives of so many people with her abundant love, compassion, grace, unwavering faith and bright spirit. She found extreme joy in doing anything she could to guide and help those around her. Her favorite activities included reading, writing, photography, making crafts and spending time with her family, friends and pets.
In memory of her passion for rescuing so many of her beloved pets, the family suggests memorial contributions in her name to: South Lake Animal League (a no kill shelter), P.O.
