Viola "Vi" Dolce

Viola "Vi" Dolce passed away peacefully at home surrounded by her family. She was born in Portland Connecticut, where together with her husband Salvatore raised their family and owned a clothing manufacturing company.

Vi and her husband moved to Melbourne Florida in 1987. She was a well known realtor in Suntree where she resided for many years and was a founding member of The Neighbors of Suntree.  Vi was a parishioner of St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church.

Vi was an accomplished seamstress and quite artistic. She had a refined sense of style and donated her talents to her church decorating committee. Vi enjoyed playing cards and mahjong with her friends, she belonged to many card groups.

Vi was pre deceased by her husband of 53 years Salvatore Dolce. She is survived by her daughter Susanne (John) Scandura of Clermont with whom she made her home for the most recent years. Her sons Michael Dolce of Orlando and Joseph (Cynthia) Dolce of Los Angeles, grandchildren Michael and John Scandura, Nicholas and Thomas Dolce and 3 great grandchildren. Vi is also survived by her sister Evelyn (Ted) Bartolotta of Melbourne.

A mass in her memory will celebrated at St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church, Viera FL on August 5, 2023 at 11:00 AM.
