Vera J. Santacroce, 92, Clermont, & former Vero Beach, FL resident passed away December 14, 2012 at Emeritus at Oak Park in Clermont. She was born March 18, 1920 in Staten Island, NY daughter of Teresa DeNoble & Patsy Ricca. On June 22, 1941 she was united in marriage to Anthony John Santacroce in Staten Island. She worked for the New York Public School system. While in Vero Beach she was a member of Italian American Civic Association Auxiliary & KLE Club. She was a member of Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church in Clermont and former member Red Hat Society at King's Ridge. Her beloved Tony preceded her in death on February 3, 2009 as did siblings Joseph, Pat, Albert, Carmine, & Dominick Ricca & Italia DeAngles. Surviving are her children Phyllis (Peter) Capece, Clermont; Michael (Janet) Santacroce, Lincolnton, NC & Teresa (Richard) Witmer, Fallbrook, CA; nine grandchildren; fifteen great-grandchildren; brothers John Ricca & Sal (Rachel) Ricca all of Staten Island & sister-in-law Lucille Ricca, Islin, NJ.



Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:30 AM on Thursday, December 20, 2012 at Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church celebrated by Very Reverend Robert E. Webster.  Inurnment will be in Florida National Cemetery in Bushnell.
