Obituary
Vecas Adolphus Gray unexpectedly left us on July 1, 2017 at the age of 63.
He is survived by his beautiful wife, Odette Gray (Faith), his children, Karlene, Vecas, Jr. (Claud), Karina, Jason, and Jordan, his two younger brothers, Boysie and Andrew, and his oldest sister Hermaline.
Vecas Gray, Sr. was born in St Catherine Jamaica on April 5, 1954 to Basil and Mavis Gray. He lived in Gregory Park until he migrated to the United States in 1979. He was an Electric Engineer at Bankers Trust, Deutsche Bank, BALA/CSI, and most recently JP Morgan Chase.
He entertained the idea of becoming a "farmer" after retiring. He also enjoyed traveling and often went on worldwide trips with his family and friends.
He is a hero to us through all his accomplishments and his capacity to care for others.
The Home Going Service for Mr. Gray will be held at 11:00 AM on Saturday, July 22, 2017 at Macedonia Church of the Living God, 1610 Griffin Road, Leesburg, FL. Burial will follow in Hillcrest Memorial Gardens, also in Leesburg, FL followed by the repast back at the church.
