Obituary

Ursula A. Hayden (78) of Winter Garden passed away on July 9, 2020 after a brief battle with cancer. She was born in Wertheim, Germany to parents Christian and Cecilia Heinfling. She resided in Delray Beach prior to relocating to Winter Garden three years ago.
A seasoned military wife, she could pack a house and her two children to relocate in just a few days and would within hours have their new location looking and feeling like home. An amazing cook, she was known for her German dishes and her strawberry cake, a recipe she found while she and her family lived in Columbus, Georgia. She enjoyed visiting with her family in Germany and more recently with her wonderful neighbors in the small community where she lived.
She leaves behind her beloved children Steve (Susan), Ginny (Steve), her sister Moni, brother Klaus, her favorite cousin Gitte, as well as her treasured grandchildren Heather, Danny, and Kevin, an extended family in Germany and many friends and neighbors. She was predeceased by her brother Peter just months earlier, and joins her son Thomas.
A celebration of life will be held at a later date. The family would like to extend a special thank you to the doctors and nurses at South Lake Hospital, and especially the caring and wonderful staff at the Mike Conley Hospice House in Clermont, FL. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in her name at cornerstonehospice.org
