Urban Strafford "Stan" Davenport was born on September 30, 1928, in Vivian, Louisana. He passed away peacefully at his home in Clermont, Florida on July 3, 2020.

Stan was a retired civil engineer who loved fishing, gardening, his family, and serving Jesus. He was preceded in death by his loving wife of 57 years, Betty Davenport, and two grandchildren. He is survived by his youngest sister, Nell Rose Shepard, and his four daughters; Brenda Harris, Karen Vaughn, Janet Harman, and Michele Barnes as well as eight grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.

While we want to encourage friends and loved ones to maintain appropriate safety measures because of COVID-19, you are welcome for visitation from 9 am to 10 am on Wednesday, July 8th followed immediately by a celebration of his life at Real Life Christian Church at 1501 Steve's Road, Clermont, Florida 34711.
