Obituary
Twilla Marie Durant, 81, of Clermont, Florida, went home to be with the Lord on Christmas Eve, December 24, 2016. Twilla is survived by her three sons: Rob (wife, Leslie), Dale (wife, Gloria) and Kevin (wife, Anne) and three grandchildren: Rachele, Jason & Jordon. She is preceded by her parents, Reverend Ray and Marie Nuzum and her loving husband of sixty one (61) years, William (Bill) Durant.
Twilla was born on March 1, 1935 in Johnstown, Pennsylvania. She was raised in the church as a minister's daughter, and gladly carried on the mission of winning hearts of the Lord. In 1960, Bill and Twilla moved to Orlando, Florida. Twilla was instrumental in building the Calvary Assembly Children's Church, starting in 1961, and traveled with the Calvary Choir with her Choir Director husband. She remained dedicated to her work for the Lord as an active on-staff counselor and in the year of 2000, she became recognized as an ordained minister.
Twilla had a passion for Christ; she lived for Him all of her life and helped as many people as she could, to know Him, too.
