Tom L. McPherson, 87, Leesburg, FL passed away June 7, 2014 at Cornerstone Hospice Tavares. He was born December 10, 1926 in Peal, Arkansas son of Flossie Lee & Lee McPherson. He served in the US Army during WWII. On October 14, 1951 he was united in marriage to Marguerite Elizabeth Selmer in Eureka, IL. He retired from Caterpillar after a 35 year career as a machinist. He & Marguerite were snowbirds since 1988 and residents since 1996 from Peoria, IL. His five siblings preceded him in death. Surviving are his wife Marguerite; children Linda (Paul) Williams, Palatka, FL & John Michael McPherson, Pekin, IL & grandchildren Thomas Aaron McPherson & Rachael Elizabeth McPherson.



The graveside memorial service for Mr. McPherson will be held at 11:00 AM on Monday, June 16, 2014 at Florida National Cemetery in Bushnell, FL.
