Obituary
Thomas Frederick Slagsvol (affectionately known as "T. Fred") was born on August 15, 1922 in Madison, Wisconsin and died on November 16, 2015 in Clermont, Florida at the age of 93. He met and married Darlene Oberly at Trinity Lutheran Church of St. Petersburg, Florida in 1945.
T. Fred proudly served his country and was Honorably discharged twice: first in December of 1945 for his U.S. Navy service during WWII. Then again in February of 1952 for his U.S. Navy service during the Korean conflict.
He graduated from the University of Florida in 1949 with a BSEE and joined IBM, where he held various technical, staff and management positions during his 38 year career.
T. Fred is survived by Darlene, his wife of 70 years; two sons, Steven E. (Mae), Thomas J. (Pam); four grandchildren, Graham S., Adam T. (Heather), Scott J. (Sarah) and Henry W. Siegel; four great grandchildren, Lydia K., Jackson G., Oskar T. and Kora L.
An inurnment ceremony with military honors will be held at the Florida National Cemetery, Bushnell, Florida on Friday, December 4, 2015 at 2:30 PM.

He was a fine man, a loving husband and father. We will miss him.
