Thomas Hathaway Hardy, 76, of Clermont, FL passed away Wednesday, November 10, 2021 surrounded by his family. He was born in Seattle, Washington on January 23, 1945 to Dr. John Hardy and Elizabeth Lloyd-Hardy. He was a beloved brother to Michael Hardy and he was a loving and devoted husband to Jann Hardy for 55 years, after meeting her on their college ski team. He was a father to Susan, Scott, and Victoria and a loving grandfather to Ethan, Lauren, Emily, Ryan, Marley, and Charlotte and great-grandfather to Carson.

Following his enlistment in the Air Force during the Vietnam War, he became a graduate of the University of Puget Sound with a degree in Business Administration and Accounting. He retired from the Federal Bureau of Prisons in 2000. After moving to Clermont in 2001, he fulfilled his lifelong dream of being a boat captain at Walt Disney World. Tom enjoyed golfing, skiing, boating, and most of all spending time with family. He will be remembered for his kind heart and quick sense of humor.

Thomas' funeral will be a private service, however the family is hosting a casual memorial reception at the at Kings Ridge Clubhouse in the Canterbury room on Tuesday, November 16th from 1:00-4:30.
