Thomas "Tom" Frank Phillips was born on August 11, 1932, and was passed from death unto life on May 21, 2019. He grew up in Durham, North Carolina, and moved to Orlando, Florida, where he owned and operated Orange County Motors from 1971 until his death. He was a member of Victory Baptist Church in Ocoee, Florida, since 1993. He loved fishing, hunting, and attending Southern Gospel Music Concerts. His greatest passion was his family.He is survived by his wife of nearly fifty-two years, Sandra "Penny" Phillips, his children Tom (Tina) Phillips, Beatrice Ferguson, Joseph Phillips, Myron "Ron" (Marion) Phillips, Brad (Lee Ann) Phillips, and Lori (Allen) Gaskins; his grandchildren Aaron, Matt, Joey, Sherry, Mandy, Tommy, Deanna, Levi, Simon, Jude, Wyatt, Abby, Emma, and Cooper; and his 18 great grandchildren & sister Violet Capps. He was preceded in death by his parents, Berry and Alice Phillips; his sister, Marie Booth; his brother, Robert Phillips; his granddaughter, Katie Gaskins; and his grandson, Barry Phillips.The viewing will be held at Victory Baptist Church, 1601 A D Mims Road, Ocoee, on Friday, May 24th from 6 - 8 pm and the service on Saturday, May 25th at 10 am with a graveside service following. In lieu of flowers, the family is requesting donations be made to Victory Baptist Church Missions.He will be greatly missed by all who had the privilege to know him and will be remembered for his work ethic, his kindness, his faithfulness to his God, his charity to those in need, and his fierce love for his family."Enter into His gates with thanksgiving, and into His courts with praise: be thankful unto Him, and bless His name.
