Obituary

Thomas Lee Crompton, 62, passed away unexpectedly on July 9, 2023, at his home in Montverde FL. Tom was born on June 6, 1961, to Richard Lee and Joy Mae Crompton in Columbus OH.

He graduated from West Jefferson High School, West Jefferson OH in 1979, and enjoyed participating in plays and French Club.

After high school graduation, Tom moved to the Central Florida area. He met his future wife Judy while working at Sea World. He then gained employment at the United States Postal Service as a postal carrier until his untimely death, with 37 years of service.

Tom married Judith (Paulson) in 1988 and they resided in Montverde for 31 years. They loved to cruise and had traveled extensively throughout the Caribbean and Mediterranean.

He enjoyed attending plays at the Dr. Phillips Center for the Performing Arts. He also participated as a member of a bowling league.

Tom is preceded in death by his wife Judy Crompton of Montverde FL, his father Richard Crompton of Columbus OH and his beloved grandparents, Carl and Geneva Presley of Montverde FL.

He is survived by his mother Joy Crompton of Minneola FL, two younger brothers, Mike (wife Jennifer) of Montverde FL, Dennis of Minneola FL and friend Kevin Hayes of Macon Ga. He is also survived by numerous relatives.

Tom will be dearly missed and his memory will be cherished by his family and friends.
