IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Theresa Parrott
Nenezian
July 25, 1957 – November 11, 2023
Theresa Nenezian (Dr. Parrott), 66, of Clermont, FL, passed away on November 11th, 2023.
Theresa was born in Miami, FL to Doris and Joe Youhouse on July 25th, 1957. She went to school at St. James Catholic School where she was a member of the folk group. Theresa attended the University of Florida where she completed her undergraduate and graduate degrees. She married Richard Nenezian on June 17th, 1989 and had three daughters. Their marriage was filled with love, laughter and a lot of Gator games.
Shortly after her husband passed in 1999, she formed a non-profit called God's Helping Hands Farm to rescue wildlife and provide hippotherapy to children with disabilities. After her three daughters moved away to college, she sold the farm and founded St. Charles Veterinary Hospital. God's Helping Hands still rescues and rehabilitates wildlife through St. Charles Veterinary Hospital.
She had a successful career as a published and practicing veterinarian for 40 years. Her innovative techniques and case studies can be found in multiple journals and books including the Merck Veterinary Manuel. In her "retirement" she was involved with the University of Florida Vet School where she continued to mentor and support young veterinary students.
Theresa is preceded in death by her husband (Richard Nenezian), her Mother (Doris Youhouse), her Father (Joseph Youhouse) and two of her brothers (Michael and Joseph Youhouse).
Theresa is survived by: her three daughters (Jamie, Kelly and Kristin Nenezian), her grandchildren (MacKenna Grace, Linden Richard and Rowan Steven), her sister (Elizabeth Piazza), and three brothers (Robert, John and James Youhouse).
In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to God's Helping Hands; so that she can live on through all of the animals rescued:
