Theresa A. Delp 5-3-41 to 1-28-23

Theresa A. Delp, 81, of Nottingham, New Hampshire, passed away peacefully on January 28th, 2023.

Theresa was always doing work with Granite State Sheltie Rescue, so please, in lieu of flowers, make donations, if desired, directly to the organization.

Theresa was a very energetic soul that cared for animals and people alike. She raised Siberian Huskey's and Sheltie's most of her life and loved and cared for all of them. She cared deeply for family and friends and was always willing to help when someone needed her. She was very strong in the First Newmarket Militia with her husband, Landis "DUKE" Delp Jr., before his passing in 2004. The organization did Revolutionary war reenactments to teach the students and the community history of that time period. She would participate as well as cook and make uniforms for the performers (she could throw a mean tomahawk).

Theresa had many friends in the community and was very active in the local senior centers as well. She loved arts and crafts and bingo, which she often played at the centers. (Newmarket and Raymond Senior Centers) She was an outstanding actress and loved to perform in the center's productions.

Theresa loved collecting watches and dolphins and watching movies; her favorite was working on her computer. There was no task that she would not attempt, and she was usually successful at everything she tried. She was always the life of the party and tried to see the best in everyone.

Theresa was an excellent cook, and her Italian cuisine was always authentic and loved by even the best chefs. She could make a wonderful spaghetti sauce that would make almost any food taste incredible.

Theresa expressed in the days before she passed her thanks to friends and family for taking care of her and supporting her through the years. She was thankful in the end to be in Florida and prepare for a new phase in her life, as short as it may have been.

Theresa is survived by her son Landis A. Delp III, and his wife, Kathy.
