Terry G. Benton, 82, went to heaven from his daughter's home in Florida. On December 14, 2025, to be with Jesus Christ our savior and family members that preceded him in death.
Born in Akron, Ohio, he lived in California most of his life. He was a member of the First Baptist Church in Victorville.
Terry was a plumbing contractor, owned and worked a family business. He worked for Conrock driving a cement mixer while earing his degree at Azusa College, later becoming a schoolteacher at Victor Valley Jr. High School and also the Assistant Principal for the same school.
Terry joined the San Bernadino County Sheriff's Department and became a Reserve Deputy Sheriff contributing to the well-being of Victor Valley Residents.
While proudly serving in the US Army in the 1960's, he met his loving wife Lieselotte Neurohr (Benton) who preceded him in death three years ago. Although no longer married to one another there was a love between the two that no one could conquer.
He leaves behind a loving daughter, Christina, of Groveland, Florida; four Grandchildren, Cody and Kacey of Florida, Melanie and Carolina, of Germany; and eight Great Grandchildren, Tristan, Cody, Jr., Levi, Waylan, Walker, Maurice, Johanna, and Sophia.
Funeral Services with Military Honors will be held Friday, December 19, 2025, 10:30am, at Florida National Cemetery.
