Sylvia Taines Alderman, 88, Clermont, passed away July 23, 2011 at her residence. She was born april 17, 1923 in Brooklyn, NY daughter of Fred Fink & Anna Schumsky. She was a homemaker and a local resident since 2000 from West Palm Beach prior to living in Detroit, North Miami & San Francisco. Surviving is her daughter Marsha Heller, Clermont; granddaughter Allison Heller, Denver, CO; brother Sidney J. Forrest, Clermont; step-children Allen (Faye) Alderman, Palm Harbor; Bart (Sandy) Alderman, Melbourne & David (Linda) Alderman, Chicago & 3 step-grandchildren.



The funeral service for Sylvia Alderman will be held at 10:00 AM on Monday, July 25, 2011 at the graveside in Hillcrest Memorial Gardens,  1901 CR 25A, Leesburg , FL. Rabbi Robert Lefkowitz, Congregation Beth Emeth will preside. Friends are invited to attend a reception at the home of Sylvia Alderman & Marsha Heller following the service.
