Sydney Alexander Low Jr, was called home on August 15th, 2022, at the age of 66. Sydney was born December 27th 1955, to Stella Margaret Low & Sydney Low Sr in Georgetown, Guyana. Sydney will be greatly missed by his sisters, Jennifer (Harry), Pauline (predeceased John), Jackie, and his brother Kurt (Amanda). His wife Sherry & 3 sons Donald, Sheldon (Jackie), and Spencer (Nadia). He didn't have any daughters but loved his daughter-in-laws so much as his own. His brother-in-laws, sister-in-law's, nieces, & nephews will miss him tremendously. He was very close to his sister-in-laws: Geeta, Seeta, Reds, Lali, Savi, Nad, and the late Anita. Also his brother-in-laws: David, Videsh, Mukesh, and the late Jakie. Sydney was known for his jovial personality, amazing smile, and funny jokes.

Sydney grew up as an altar server & a God-fearing man. He was a famous photographer in Guyana he did photography for the Guyana embassy, Banks Brewery Guyana, and many of his family members weddings. He was a photographer for 20+ years in Guyana and New York, when he moved there in 1987. He met his wife Sherry when he was the photographer for her 21st birthday in 1983. He always says it was love at first sight. Since then, the two were inseparable. After 2 years they got married in 1985 & in 1986 had their first child Donald, followed by Sheldon, and Spencer. When Sydney moved to Florida in 2000 he continued his photography for a few years and he became a salesclerk at Macy's. He was passionate about working for Macy's & he loved all of his co-workers, they were a big family. He worked in the ladies shoes department and charmed all the ladies, as he was one of the top salesmen for many years. He loved gardening and his avocado tree was his pride & joy. He was a big fan of the New York Yankees, Orlando City soccer, & the Golden State Warriors. If you knew Sydney, everyone was his favorite sister-in-law, brother-in-law, niece, & nephew. He will be deeply missed & forever in our hearts.
