Susanne "Sue" Lawson, of Clermont, Florida went home to be with her savior on Saturday, August 27th 2022, surrounded by her loving husband and children.

Sue was born on May 19th, 1967 to parents Edward & Dorothy Robinson in Port Jefferson, New York. She was the oldest of 4 children. Sue graduated from Port Charlotte High School in 1985, and received the principal's award, a high honor for academics and school involvement. She enjoyed cheerleading from a young age and continued to cheer throughout her high school years. Sue continued to live in Port Charlotte after High School where she gave birth to her two children, Cory & Connor.

On June 11th, 2005 Sue married the love of her life, Billy Lawson of Clermont, Florida. Sue and her two sons Cory & Connor relocated to Clermont and together Sue & Billy blended their families and they all became one.

During her time in Clermont, Sue started her career in real estate. In 2017, she placed her real estate career to the side to enjoy the best title of all, "Nana". Sue found joy in watching her grandchildren each and every day. They were her light, as she was theirs.

Sue was an active member in her church, and had the heart of a servant. She found joy in attending her ladies bible study weekly and lived for her Lord Jesus Christ. Her faith was unwavering.

She was also known as an adrenaline junkie. She loved driving fast cars, skydiving, and riding roller coasters. On the weekends you could find her on the boat, cruising the chain of lakes with her family and friends. Sue loved the beach, especially Boca Grande, it held a special place in her heart.

Though her time here on earth was not long enough, the impact she made in the lives of others has been remarkable.

Sue is survived by her husband Billy Lawson, Mother Dorothy Robinson, her 7 children and their spouses: Cory Richardson, Bradley & Ashley Jackson, Jessica & Blake Messer, Connor Richardson, Andrew Lawson, Jacob & Kayla Lawson, and Leslie Montoya. Her Grandchildren: Alden, Hayden, Weston, Mia, Jameson, Nolen, Zander, Kaiden, Adley, Bennett, Cohen & another on the way. Her Sisters: Cynthia Jones &  Amy Robinson, and her nephews & nieces, and their children that she loved dearly.

We are sure her daddy met her at the gates of heaven.

In lieu of flowers, Sue requested that donations be made to cancer research. Metavivors, for metastatic breast cancer, and Alex's Lemonade Stand for Childhood cancer in honor of her Grandson Bennett Messer who is currently in remission.
