Obituary
Sue Scales Schlossman Rott, passed away on May 24, 2015 at the age of 81. She was born in Banks County, GA to Thomas and Johnnie Mae Scales.
Surviving family includes her daughter and son-in-law, Tina and Barry Dixon-Smith, her brother and sister-in-law, Johnny and Jean Scales, grandsons Teddy Schlossman and Patrick Sjolander, several great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
Sue's husband, Gus Rott and one son, Rick Schlossman, preceded her in death.
Sue was a long time resident of Virginia Beach, VA and of Boca Raton and Clermont, FL.
She was an avid reader, enjoyed politics, shopping, volunteering and was a student at the Kabbalah Centre in Boca Raton, FL. Sue had many friends from every walk of life.
Arrangements are:
Funeral services will take place at 10am on Thursday, May 28, 2015 at the Becker Funeral Home located at 806 West Minneola Avenue, Clermont, FL.
Visitation is on Wednesday, May 27, 2015 from 5 to 7pm at the funeral home.
Floral tributes are welcome or for memorial contributions, the family has designated The Dream Catcher Horse Rescue at 10639 Toad Road, Clermont, FL 34715, (407) 702-8332.
