Sue (Mary) Levengood Parker of Leesburg, FL, born July 3, 1934, died on August 14, 2019. Sue is survived by her three daughters, Virginia Miller, Gaile Parker Cassiani and Cheryl P. Neff, three sons in law, Stanley Miller, Gilles Cassiani and William Neff, three grandchildren, Holly Parker, Jessica Neff Grussemeyer and Alexander Neff, two great grandchildren, Ellie and Emma Grussemeyer, eight nephews and nieces, J. Michael Levengood Esq., Gary A. Levengood M.D.,the Rev. Patti Axel, Shari Freyermuth, PhD, Frank Coleman, Rick Coleman, Debbie Coleman and Vikki Coleman. Sue was preceded in death by her husband Bonnie E. Parker, her son, Johnny Parker, her grandson Jonathan Parker, her brother Johnny Levengood and her sister Stella Coleman.
The viewing and service will be held on Saturday, August 17th, 2019 at Becker Funeral Home, 806 West Minneola Avenue, Clermont, FL 34712 at 11:00 AM. Following the service a luncheon will be held at Stan and Ginger's. The interment at the grave site will be held on Monday, August 19, 2019 at 1:00 pm., Dade Memorial Park, aka Caballero Rivero Dade North, 1301 Opa Locka Blvd., Miami, FL 33167, in the Honor section, Space 3.
Born in Knoxville, TN, Sue graduated from Miami High School and worked at Southern Bell. Sue was a dedicated mother first and foremost. She treasured her children and family and embraced every moment with them. She especially loved her role as Grandma and GG Parker for her grandchildren and great grandchildren. She was a great and wonderful cook in the kitchen and was known for her breadsticks and hushpuppies along with the best seafood. She was a creative and artisitic person always designing and creating something. She will be greatly missed by all who loved her.
