It is with heavy hearts that we announce the unexpected passing of Mr. Steven Terrell Light, who departed this life on July 12, 2025, in Clermont, Florida, at the age of 56.

Born on December 14, 1968, in Hopewell, Virginia, Steven was a devoted family man known for his boundless love for his wife, children, and grandchildren. He shared 30 wonderful years of marriage with his beloved wife, Phuong Light.

Steven found immense joy in the simple pleasures of life, whether he was paddleboarding on the lake, sharing popcorn and laughter with his grandchildren, enjoying his wife's cooking, going out for a walk, or immersing himself in the world of gaming. His family was the center of his world, and his dedication to them was evident in every aspect of his life.

He is survived by his cherished wife, Phuong Light and his sons, Quang Nguyen and wife Barbara, Minh Nguyen and wife Maureen, Anh Nguyen, and Terrence Light and wife Jen. Steve also leaves behind his adored grandchildren, Chance Nguyen, Chloe Nguyen, and Noah Nguyen Nogueira; his loving parents, Steve and Elizabeth "Betty" Light and his sister, Sheri Light.

Steven's kind spirit, warm presence, and unwavering love for his family will be deeply missed by all who knew him.
