Obituary
Dr. Stephen Edward Newton, age 73, Clermont, died November 19, 2017, tragically, as the result of injuries sustained in a motorcycle accident. He was born December 14, 1943 in Bedford, England, the only child of Joan Beaus & Ralph Newton.
Dr. Newton, who was also affectionately known to many of his friends and patients as "Bones" or "Doc" will be deeply missed! His office was on 17th street in Dade City from 1979 until he sold the office building in 1998. In 1996 Doc noticed a need for his care in Clermont, some 45 minutes away, so he opened an office. He sold his Dade City practice to another Chiropractor in 1998 which remained open for a year and a half. Many of Dr. Newton's patients then came back to him and they would make the drive from Dade City, Zephyrhills, Sarasota, Spring Hill, and all over Central Florida to receive his great care. Doc continued to see patients until his passing.
Survivors include his wife Jane; children John Newton, Bradenton & Megan Naile, Clermont and grandchildren Ethan Naile, Evan Naile, Ella Jane Naile & Kristin Blommel.
