Stephen
Cirko Jr.
Aug 30, 1937 — May 3, 2026
Stephen “Steve” Cirko Jr.
Stephen “Steve” Cirko Jr., 88, passed away peacefully on May 3, 2026 in Clermont,
Florida where he retired with his loving wife of 66 years, Dottie, living their dream.
Born in Sugar Notch, Pennsylvania on August 30, 1937 to the late Stephen and Mary
Cirko, Steve lived a life defined by service and an unwavering devotion to his family.
To his parents and siblings he was always “Billy”, but to the world he was Steve, a man
of immense charisma.
Steve’s early years were shaped by a deep love for his country, leading him to serve in
the U.S. Marine Corps. His commitment to integrity and community continued through
his service as a Bristol Township Police Officer. Later, he brought that same drive to the
commercial services and motor freight industries, where he spent years as a
top-achieving account executive.
Beyond his professional success, Steve was a man of many passions. A gifted
musician, he played bass guitar for most of his life, performing with various
country-western bands. Alongside his late wife, Dorothy “Dottie” Cirko, the duo taught
country-western line dancing. When he wasn’t on stage, Steve could be found on the
golf course, in the great outdoors, or traveling the world with Dottie.
Family was the center of Steve’s world. Whether it was weekend trips to the Poconos or
playing pinochle with his wife and parents, Steve’s presence ensured the room was filled
with laughter and fun. He was a pillar of strength and wisdom for his children, always
encouraging them with his favorite reminder: “Enjoy your life, kid.”
Steve is reunited in heaven with his beloved wife, Dottie; his parents; and his brother,
Theodore “Ted” Cirko. His legacy of humor and hard work lives on through his four
children, Michael Cirko, Valerie Wolford, Michelle Moyer, and Derek Cirko; his sister,
Donna Luther; 4 grandchildren, 6 great grandchildren; and his cousins, nieces, and
nephews.
