Stephen George Benoit, Sr., 59, of Clermont, FL passed away Sunday, June 30, 2013. Stephen was born on February 3, 1954 in Boston, MA, the son of the late Leo and Mary (nee Bulger) Benoit. He lived in Central Florida for the past 22 years, moving to Clermont in 2000. He worked in environmental services and was a Catholic. Stephen served in the U.S. Navy during the Vietnam War. Stephen is survived by his wife, Debra; children, Stephen G. Benoit, Jr of Carver, MN, Stacy Benoit of Clermont; siblings, Leo Benoit, Joseph Benoit, Jean Dickey, John Benoit and James Benoit all of MA and grandchildren, Emily, Samuel, Gaby, Joseph, Allana, Vincent and Christian.



Funeral Services will be held at 11:30 AM Thursday, July 11, 2013 at Becker Funeral Home. Interment will follow at Florida National Cemetery, Bushnell, FL, at which time military honors will be rendered. Visitation will be held from 9:30 AM until service time of Thursday.
