Stephanie Rivera, a shift leader, cashier, and resident of Minneola, FL, passed away on Monday, August 30th, 2021, at the age of 41 in South Lake Hospital.

Stephanie was born in Ridgewood, NJ on March 16th, 1980 to Ramon and Aurora Rivera. She attended St. Therese Catholic School in Paterson, NJ until 8th grade. In 1993, her family relocated to Minneola, FL, where she attended and graduated from South Lake High School, class of 1998. On December 10th, 2002, and November 2nd, 2006 respectively, she welcomed her two daughters, Jocelyn and Juliana, who were the most important part of her life. After 12 years of marriage with the father of her children, in March of 2016 she remarried to Charles E. Sims III.

Stephanie is survived by her parents, Ramon and Aurora Rivera; her daughters, Jocelyn and Juliana Roman; her brother, Emmanuel Rivera; and her husband, Charles E. Sims III. She is predeceased by her beloved grandparents, Juan and Julia Osorio.

Stephanie was a loving mother and theme park enthusiast. She enjoyed taking her daughters on vacations to Disney and Universal resorts. Her favorite holiday was Halloween, during which she attended Halloween Horror Nights every year with her family as a tradition. Stephanie also loved playing dominoes and bingo with her grandparents before they passed. She had the most fun singing karaoke with her daughters, parents, and brother. She enjoyed days at Clearwater beach and going to dinner shows with her girls and her husband. Stephanie was talented at baking, and often baked cakes for her family's birthdays. She was also a skilled cashier and leader at her job. She had a heart of gold and showed kindness to everyone around her, even those who wronged her. She will be deeply missed by her family and friends, near and far.

A funeral service is scheduled from 11 a.m to 2 p.m, on September 9th, 2021 at Becker Funeral Home in Clermont, FL. Donations may be offered to her young daughters, Jocelyn and Juliana
