Stephanie Joella Darby, 44, died unexpectedly December 8, 2020 in Groveland,  FL

Stephanie was born December 1, 1976, in Orlando,  FL to Jo Katherine and Steven Robert Darby.

She was a hard-charging, loving woman with a passion for creating and music.  She loved her family, her dogs and her friends.  Stephanie was taken from us far too soon, but we are comforted by memories of her singing "Jesus Loves Me" and our confidence that she is joyfully reunited with her Heavenly Father.

Stephanie is survived by her mother Jo Wentworth; stepdad Steve (Sallie) Wentworth; husband Reynaldo "Rey" Mendez; brother Steven (Lori) Darby; daughter Klarissa Gilbert, sons Johnny Christopher Poppell and Christian Mendez; grandchildren Elizabeth Lasley, Bentley Vazquez and Maverick Swartz; and many aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews.

A celebration of life will be held 2:00-5:00 Tuesday,  December 15 at Becker Funeral Home, 806 W. Minneola Ave, Clermont.
