Sohnie Corder of Groveland, Florida stepped into the presence of her Lord on April 5th, 2021. She was born on July 9th, 1946 in Ocala, Florida to W.B. and Louise Sohn Shiver. She married Don Corder in 1971. Although they had no children, by 36 years of teaching kindergarten and elementary children she has left a legacy of generations that love her. She was active in serving her Lord in the churches that she joined teaching Sunday School and Bible School. She is survived by her brother Deneth (Denny) Shiver (Cindy) of Zellwood, brother-in-law Mike Carlton of Zellwood, nephews, Greg Dykes (Della) of Groveland, Aaron Barrett (Tara) of Apopka, Kyle Shiver of Mt Plymouth, 2 step nieces, 1 step nephew, 3 grand nieces and 4 grand nephews. She is predeceased in death by her husband, her parents, sisters Dwan Carlton and Kareta Janesy.  A funeral celebration of her life will be held on Saturday April 10th at Tuscanooga Baptist Church in Groveland. Viewing will be from 10 until 11 AM and the service at 11 AM with Pastor Casey Ferguson officiating. Interment will be at Greenwood cemetery in Groveland. In lieu of flowers donations can be made to Tuscanooga Baptist Church.
